to the truth or we conform the truth to our desires.

This week’s word… ~ Acts 3:19  “Repent, then,
and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the LORD.”

Gather to worship… ~ Our second mid-week Advent Worship Service is this WEDNESDAY 12 December @ 7 PM [also on 19 DEC].  Set aside this evening as a quiet oasis for faith and fellowship with your fellow Christians.  This year’s series theme is: The ABCs of Advent.  Our devotion this week is: B IS FOR BETHLEHEM.
O, come, all ye faithful! ~ Our SLS Students will present the
Christmas Gospel with their special service “A Christmas Prayer” at 9:30 AM on SUNDAY 23 December.  Plan now to worship with us!

Stewardship Committee will be hosting another FINANCIAL PEACE University Class … starting WEDNESDAY 09 January @ 7 PM.  The course lasts for nine sessions, ending around 06 March.  Look and listen for more announcements on future Sundays

A group of Lutheran pastors and professors known as The Wartburg Project [headed by WELS Pastor John Brug/OT editor and WELS Pastor Brian Keller/NT editor] is completing a new translation of the Bible called the Evangelical Heritage Translation (EHV).  The complete EHV will be available through our Northwestern Publishing House beginning in July 2019.  Today, it is available for you to preorder.  Discounts will apply for every certain amount ordered.  Watch for more details soon.

An encouraging word… ~ We have Monday Evening Worship at 7 PM each week to afford those who are away on the weekend, busy with work or other family engagements the opportunity to sing our Savior’s praises, hear His saving Word and celebrate the Sacrament (on the first and third Mondays).  Once again, let this be your invitation to worship with us when you can.  Remember these
words from the Psalmist: Come, let us worship and bow
down, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.
[Psalm 95:6]  See YOU in Church!
