WORSHIP CHANGE

Starting Saturday, September 26th we will have worship on Saturday nights rather than Monday's. The worship service will start at 6:00PM.

JAMES BIBLE CLASS

On Wednesday, September 23rd we will start an 8-week Bible study on James. There will be a signup in the narthex so that we can know how many packets to print out. Class will start at 7:00PM.

James – a book of the Bible much debated over in Lutheran history. "Is it truly a book that meets the criteria to be in the Bible? Doesn't James say, 'works now save you?'" James is a book all about faith – faith that moves one's heart to action. Faith without works is dead, and therefore we will dive into this book and look forward to growing in our faith so that we might honor God with pleasing works only done through faith.

James - Put Your Actions Where Your Faith Is

To comply with safety regulations please sign up for the service you would like to attend next Sunday or Monday. You will receive a signup form by email.

The online service is available on Sunday. You can find the service on our website at shepherdlutheran.org and clicking the “Church Livestream” graphic. Or you can search on YouTube for “Shepherd Lutheran Church Albuquerque.” The current and previous services remain available on the YouTube site.

Dear supporters of the European Civilian Chaplaincy,

It is with heartfelt gratitude to the Lord and the members of Shepherd Lutheran Church that we have sent a check for $10,020.05 to the European Civilian Chaplaincy.  Hopefully, this means that the National OWLS will be able to meet its goal this year.

We are overwhelmed!  The OWLS of Shepherd Lutheran

Starting on Sunday, October 4 there will be in person bible study in between services.
